No joke review from Danny Trejo. The internet failed.

I should be able to use this to sharpen my Zwilling Professional knives in a pinch?

Would these work for lawnmower blades? Use an angle grinder now but figure this might do decent as well.

Edit: looks like they have one for a lawnmower hut people say this kne works fine.

No (at least not well). Your lawn mower blades are only ground on one side (e.g., often at a 30 degree angle). This would sharpen both sides, decreasing the strength of the cutting edge(s) and resulting in an edge that is far from optimal for cutting grass.

now I know this isn't for kitchen knives, but carbide pull sharpeners are known for destroying knives. It seems like this would only work on an axe that is already somewhat sharp and free of damage.

Who cares if both sides are sharp if it only spins in 1 direction?

Or did you mean the full length of the same side would be sharp?

Sideways v edge like an ax laid on it's side with material removed from the top and bottom of the blade vs a ramp edge where the material is only removed from one side.

And a mower blade sharpened like a V on both sides becomes dull very very quickly and is easily dulled and damaged by sand m, rocks and debris
