I suppose this is superior to an iPhone if one is stranded on an island without electricity.

Ahh fishing for people with definitely more money than brains. Excellent!

If you simply invest the $3852500 in a market tracking ETF and sit on your ass - you'd get about $385,250 back every year. You can literally hire someone to follow you around 24/7 and tell you the time off of their $20 Casio watch. Dumb as it sounds, it's actually a smarter way to put that money to work.

Can you just put a deposit in? If I owe them $1000 its my problem, if I owe them $3,000,000+... its their problem...

Doesn't matter, you're still stranded on an island.

Am I the only one that read it as $3.8K and thought wow crazy good deal for Patek?!

To be fair it's midnight and I'm sleepy.

What would someone who can afford this doing on slickdeals?
A better question is if you're able to throw out this much money for a watch, why wouldn't you buy it from an official retailer vs a grey market seller such as jomashop.

I wonder how they came up with the msrp. Also why 54% off ? I think I know but my mum would be mad at me if I say it in a public forum.
