I have similar ones, not this one from PO. I am pretty sure it is non-woven. Plastic might cost even more.

It does the job. Nothing fancy, function well and hold up against nature so far after two years.
I don't know anything about this product, but I thought it was funny.

For that thickness, I always double bag them.
I hope that's the same? I am unsure of how the weave and material thickness effects aeration and drainage.

I grow herbs (rosemary and Thyme) with these and they work fine. But, the minor issues I have are: water will leak out to the sides so trying to get water to the mid bottom section will require more water or some work. The other is roots will grow through the bag. To some this may be an issue, others not so.

They are used for training the plant with wires/string to expose more plant to light. The eye holes grommets are great for tieing down.

I am guessing they mean those plastic domes, useful for outdoor growing when the plant is still young to protect from temperature shocks

Per chat GPT:
TLDR 4.64 Gallons

11.8 inches diameter and 9.8 inches tall
1. Radius = 5.9 inches
2. Height = 9.8 inches

Volume in cubic inches:

V = \pi (5.9)^2 \times 9.8 \approx 3.1416 \times 34.81 \times 9.8 \approx 1,071.6 \text{ in}^3

Convert to gallons:

\frac{1,071.6}{231} \approx 4.64 \text{ gallons}

Nah. Just use 5 gal plastic buckets from home depot, drill some holes in the bottom and lower bottom sides. Get some coco coir and some nutes, you'll do just fine. Can get some wire or rubber ties and pull em back to the lid.

Just got these in, and they are absolute garbage. I wasted $5. They are plastic, definitely not close to 5 gallons size, and they came completely wrapped in yellowed packing tape that smelled like strong chemicals. I threw them right in the trash can.
