It's a CD Projekt Red Game. I have faith in that company and can bet money that it will at some point... nothing has been announced as far as I know though.

You're making a lot of assumptions here that may not be at all correct. Not everyone has or would want to invest in the handhelds you speak of. Even the most successful one, the Steam Deck, sold a small fraction of what the OG Switch did. As an example my brother is not all that tech savvy and only has a Nintendo Switch to game on, nothing else, and there are probably countless other people in the same boat. As for that guy buying The Witcher 3 now to play it on the Switch 2 later, there's nothing wrong with that and in fact it's probably smart to take advantage of the sale price now whilst the opportunity is there.

Why not? We're expecting this next gen console will be able to play any currrent games, even games like call of duty and battlefield series too. 120 fps, remember? What games are you preparing to play with your switch 2 then?

I could understand being excited for the Switch 2 for a new exclusive, but I can't understand salivating to buy it in order to play a 10 year old game that can run on many other devices already.

I've played this on Switch. It is playable. Where is it unplayable? Opinions are better when facts support it. Good deal if playing on Switch or Switch 2 by the way. I bought this at launch for Nintendo Switch so I don't need to buy it again.
