Kroger (here) has a normal price $1.99 for 12oz of cocktail peanuts.
These Kar would basically be .01 less per ounce.
Prefer dry roasted but will grab this deal. Wal-Mart stated they will raise prices next month because of the clown show tanking the economy. Other grocery stores could follow that lead unfortunately. Take what you can get.

Price per ounce:
$10 ÷ 84 oz = ~11.9 cents per ounce
That's exceptionally cheap, especially if:
They're roasted and salted (usually pricier)
They're not full of broken pieces or bland
They're not loaded with seed oils (if you're avoiding those)
For comparison:
Typical store brands: 18–25¢/oz
Fancy or organic brands: 40¢–$1/oz
Questions to consider:
Are they fresh-tasting or stale?
Do they have visible oil blisters? (That's normal for roasted peanuts, especially Virginia-style)
Any off-taste from bad oil or flavorings?
If they taste good and aren't soaked in bad oil, you basically robbed the store. Want help finding other deals like that?
