Exactly right. Competition is great for gamers however console sales doesn't reflect that and that partly the the reason why IMO PS fan boys ruins it.

Meanwhile Xbox disc console owners benefit deal like this more frequent than PS

Actually I see quite a few PS5 deals that aren't for Xbox. A lot fewer Xbox discs are being produced than PS5 I would imagine. And Gamepass lowers Xbox disc demand even more.

Not understanding what you mean "Console sales dont reflect that" or what Fanboyism has to do with anything......Deals like this were heavily prevalent for PS3 when Xbox 360 was selling like hot cakes, that started changing in PS4/XBox 1 era, and now the majority of deals I see at least are for Xbox, and like @GreyActivity5688 said Game Pass and Xbox not selling as many consoles this gens leads to an abundance of deals for them
