Will finally be replacing my right year old Delonghi Nespresso Mini with this. Hopefully it's as good or better.

In the filter I'm not seeing any espresso pods available. Are you able to use some of the coffee pods for espresso or do you specifically need espresso pods?

Considering you could get 100 coffee pods and a L'Or Barista system for $80, is it worth spending $40 more for that Frother?

Genuinely curious, in what way is this better than generic brand milk frothers in Amazon?

Yes, they are slightly bigger
Not true, they take OG Nespresso-sozed pods, L'Or makes their own in the same size. Then there's a pod that's about twice or three times the sizenthatbwxclusive to L'Or and Peet's that's for regular coffee

So, it is technically a better deal except for three reasons.

1. You have pods already
2. 80 cents a pod is rip off.
3. You have a frother.

Woot deal is 59.
Pods you can deals for 20 cents.

For me, espresso with LOR
Coffee with nespresso vertuo. I refill my own pods.

100 pods is 20 bucks.

However the large pods are proprietary. So that is the issue. Best to buy the large pods.

80 bucks 100 pods and machine
59 bucks. 100 pods 20 bucks =79

I assume no tax at LOR so that would be the better deal

No. Frothers are dirt cheap. Frothers wands work just as good

I'm a coffee n00b. My wife and I are spending a small fortune on our daily habit, my $7 flavored oat milk latte and her $5 tea latte ... $12 per day.

I don't care what the Espresso tastes like but I usually get a single shot (not half caff, they throw the other shot away), oat milk frothed and syrup.

If the following are our two choices, what would be best frothing wise?
1) We purchased the Breville BNE600SLQ Nespresso Creatista Espresso for an effective $200 after additional discounts, yes it was purchased almost 8 years ago and gifted, turns out they never opened and want to give it back. Still brand new and already paid for.
2) This deal.

Pods are easier and less mess. You will get a great cup.

The use of steam frothing is outdated and every barista will state they never could get as good froth from a machine.

Froth machines are dirt cheap. Using a wand with double whip and microwave will do the same as well.

The problem with machines is the clean up and more so if it automatically froths. Plus the art of grinding, filling, packing. It is a bit of an art.

Pod machines and mechanical frothers make you a pro in minutes.

If anyone wants both the machine and frother without buying 100 capsules it's $83 for both at Amazon after redeeming the 30% off coupon.

I bought this system at Costco in the past year and it's the best purchase I've made in years. Everyone loves the coffee/espresso, it's difficult to go back to regular brewed coffee and the best part is that you can use many brands of pods in it so you're not limited like the Nespresso machines. I check here every few weeks and have bought all my pods at less than $.50/each. I still have my $25 giftcard to L'or that came w/my last machine & am using it to buy this bundle for my daughter for Christmas. This is such a steal! Thank you!
