The deal is back, but the coupon changes from time to time. It's 39% like the previous FP deal as of May 18

Id like to get this but a part of me feels like id like a flashlight that doesnt have a built-in battery for longevity sake. Anyone else feel that way?

Is "Wurkkos" a known flashlight brand or is this another random fake Chinese brand being used to sell rebadged generic crap from Alibaba?

I don't understand why they have green light, but not red. Seems like UV and red would be more useful.

No these all look like normal people comments.

I have this light and the equivalent Olight. They both have been running fine. The Olight uses a proprietary magnetic charger but the controls are significantly better. I like the dial switch on it.

This wurkkos has a confusing control scheme probably because it has way too many functions. The led "flood" strip is okay, but it's also RGB which is a gimmick and contributes to the feature bloat.

Basically to work this thing you either push the button(s) 1 to 3 times, or hold it down. That's essentially eight different lights/modes, and it's hard to remember which button does what.

For a combo light, uv, and laser though its saved me having to carry three separate devices.

The wurkkos floats around my house for when I need a quick light. The Olight lives in my bag and travels with me.

If I were to buy one as a gift for an adult, I'd get the Olight. It's just the stuff you need and easy to use and understand. The wurkkos I'd buy for a teenager/college student. It's cheaper, so if it gets lost or stolen I'm less annoyed, and they'll probably remember how the buttons work better than Grandpa will.

Yes, Wurrkos sub reddit had a poll and this was the most requested feature as far as I remember.

I'm waiting for a replaceable battery version too.

I tend to avoid fixed batteries as much as possible.

I bought this on the last deal. I can honestly say that I am impressed with this light. I own several high end flashlights and I keep going back to this one for EDC. I would recommend it to anyone, especially for the price point.

If you are referring to the OLight Arkfield, it's around $90 USD. That's a hefty premium over this light.
