Tesla has introduced a new program that gives $1,000 in Tesla Credits and a $1,000 incentive from Lyft to eligible Lyft drivers that take delivery of any new @Tesla.

Eligible Lyft drivers who purchase a new Tesla vehicle can receive $1,000 in Tesla Credits upon taking delivery and a $1,000 incentive from Lyft after completing 100 trips on or before July 13, 2025. Tesla Credits can be used toward Supercharging, a new Tesla vehicle, service appointments or select Tesla Shop or upgrade purchases. Offer available to active Lyft drivers in good standing.

In SF and In NYC it's common that people reject Gig drivers with Teslas. Tesla is super desperate, there's no other top national brand that's got such negative sentiment.

Until Tesla starts killing people directly through defense contracting I don't really care. I don't see people deciding not to take a flight because their plane is made by Boeing

No one saying most or all rides are rejected, I'm saying it happens on a regular basis. Tesla protests are common in San Francisco. That doesn't mean every single person is protesting Tesla or SF doesn't have a buttload of happy Tesla fans. It means on a regular basis mass groups of people have visible demonstrations at showrooms.

Agree. Have been in 4-5 Tesla Ubers in SF last 3 days when Waymo was a wait.
