Bought 4 of these last time they went on sale.
Batteries stay charged with panels getting sun all day.
I don't think these are 4k, they seem more like 720p to me.
1 camera (which is facing south) has developed a haze on the lens. Not sure why. Maybe the sun?
3 cameras (facing west) seem to be working ok. I did notice they'll completely miss events for no reason. I'll pull into my driveway and it won't record anything. Super annoying.
I wouldn't buy these again. I wish I would've went with the tapo's instead.

I got this when it was a dollar higher in January, They're fine for what we use them for - mounted on upper branches of a tall spruce near the house. I might even grab another pair. But I also have them on an isolated network, and don't use their software...

Does this camera support RTSP video stream? I don't want to use their app.
Bought one the last time. Noticed that it mostly misses almost all events. If at all records, starts recording at the end of an event. The live view works fine. Camera stays charged with the panel, but it will miss the actual point of having a security camera.

Ive been using the Tapos for a few months now, it works great for the price. only complaint is ive had to power cycle the camera 2x because it kept losing wifi signal
can these be setup using a public hotspot. I have access to Xfinity hotspots, if i can connect to that on my phone and feed the login info to the camera. Would that work?
we live in an area where theres one entrance in and out, having recorded footage of that area if we need it would be really helpful.

Would you mind recommending an app or software I can use to isolate from using their app? Thanks much

I couldn't find any info that indicates that it is ONVIF or RTSP compatible. 🤷 ♂️
