Meh. $699 regular in MC and ~$750 regular on Amazon for the base model. Upgrading to 1 TB is like a 30 seconds job.

Didn't the 699 go away a while ago?

Keep in mind this comes with the keyboard and pen. Plus you have the expense of buying the drive. Also are the lower cost models LED? This is OLED.

Where does it say it's OLED? Only the model with Snapdragon elite comes with OLED.

Be careful. I have a Qualcomm pc. It is the regular non-detachable surface. It is the fastest machine I have used for office task and internet browsing, but not all drivers work, not all applications work. Be careful if you need anything outside Microsoft products. If you can live in that small bubble, it is an amazing machine.

Great price if you can find one and don't mind using snapdragon chip.I went the Intel route and bought SP9 with 16GB memory and 256GB SSD for $700 from MC and spent another $300 to upgrade the SSD to 2TB and add the keyboard with the pen.
