This game sucks so much. I'm glad I got it for free. I used my PlayStation reward points (the ones you get for completing various challenges in the PlayStation app). This game got old after the very first fight. The physics are terrible. The platforming is super floaty and frustrating. The combat is bland. I uninstalled it after the second level. Too many actual good games exist to warrant wasting time on one like this.

I agree with all of your technical points. The platforming isn't tight and the combat doesn't have enough variation.

That misses the appeal of the game though. I quite enjoyed it and completed all the achievements. The second half of the game is really where most of the fun is with the exploring and platforming, and the final tower fight and boss is exactly what I signed up for.
No, its not a great game, but it doesn't try to be.
