Type: 6-Point; Drive Size: 1/2"; Dr. Deep Sockets Metric: 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 16mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 24mm
That's from the Q&A. 15mm is apparently included in another Q&A.
Description says 12pcs. I think they mean 11 sockets and 1 case.

Can I use these to take off lug nuts? Assuming one of those is my size already.

Aside from measurement difference, does it really matter? I figured I just need a cheap deep socket but the measurement I don't really care. Anything else I should be concerned with if I pull the trigger on the cheapest?

"Sockets are made from impact grade industrial steel"

I wouldn't buy these because I already have multiple sets of impacts but I doubt that these are Chrome Moly. They are probably cheap Chinese steel. If you don't already have a set of SAE impact ... what can you lose when they strip? Thow em away ...

You need the measurement to be exact to prevent rounding the bolts. SAE is commonly used in plumbing, electric and construction ie concrete anchor bolts. Metric is on cars and some small engines. Depends and your needs. I have both and tend to use metric more. I used SAE to install my garage door and opener and deck lag bolts.

Ah ok but can't you just wing it, try them in and if it fits snug your good to go?

Impact rated steel is softer than typical socket sets, used in impact wrench - less brittle so they can bend slightly without breaking in your face. Don't use chrome sockets on impact gun.
