If you do S&S, it comes to 2.54 and the first delivery would be for a much later date, but a one-time purchase comes to 3.34 and same-day delivery.

Last time I bought Gold Medal flour from Amazon, it got recalled and I had to dump it:

What are the odds of getting this without a mess upon arrival?

I ordered bread and unbleached AP flour before and had no problems with delivery, even with S&S items.

Beware that bread flour has rather low protein content. King Arthurs AP (not bread) flour has 4g protein per serving (see Ingredients label) vs 3g on GM bread flour. I used it for experimental breads where I didn't want to waste my "good flour". (Times are tough LOL.) If you bake sourdough, you can immediately see difference in the flour performance when you feed it. I thought before people were just "flour snobs" and was surprised how noticeable the difference was.

The AP flour was OK, nothing to write home about. I honestly couldn't tell a difference between it or any other AP flour, including unbleached store brands that still sell below $3 per 5 lbs. It's a good S&S "filler" to save more on other items.
