I've been a long time user of Blokada for system wide blocking on my Android phone, but it has gotten stale these days and I was looking for a newer and more supported ad blocker. Reviews suggested AdGuard was quite good. It works on Android, iOS, Mac and Windows. If you're privacy conscious and/or just hate ads, it has been good for me so far! I was using the trial and looking for a discount when my trial came up.

For the cost of just a few months' subscription, you can get a lifetime sub - it has been worth it to me!

For Solo (up to 3 devices), use code SOLOPLAN at checkout to bring it down to $11:

For family (up to 9 devices), use code FAMPLAN to bring it down to $15.97:

oh wow, I didn't realize that. was someone abusing referral links or something? or does AdGuard itself have some sort of bad reputation that i'm unaware of and should learn about?

Doesn't work on apple devices. Others are fine. Hope there is a version I an install on router. Blocks Verizon voicemail by default, needs manual override though.

Having no ads on my Android phone for the first time ever makes this a no-brainer. The fact that it can also basically replace uBlock Origin is also great. No idea why this doesn't get more traction.

Using adguard on android, pc, it is mindblowing the amount of ads/trackers, etc it has blocked. A definite must buy for me however keep in mind "lifetime" only means until the company decides to change the product or goes under. If they change the product to include a new feature you may not be able to use the feature unless you buy it again since the company could deem it a "new" product. This is the latest ploy by numerous companies for you to buy the "lifetime" version but then lock you out of upgraded features.

Still a definite buy though

Edit: purchased and redeemed within a minute

Adguard is a scam. You buy a lifetime account and it's always at some unreasonable limit. I'm not doing it one more time

Yup. Even if "lifetime" turns out to be a year it is worth it, given that it works on every type of device I own.

Examples of times you've been burned by them?

What do you mean some unreasonable limit?

I've not run into any limits whatsoever, aside from the very well articulated 3 device limit that is stated when you buy a lifetime individual license. Are you trying to use it on more than 3 devices, and are upset you can't?
You can remove devices you're not using, too, so if you upgrade computers or whatever, just log in and remove the old one.

I've had the lifetime family plan for two years now. Works perfectly on all my android devices. It does block from going to some sites tho. With the adguard app, you can easily turn it on and off tho.
