I'm out because even though the price is reduced, it's still insanely high!
You're paying for the brand name. RTIC will perform just as well.

Funny part is both RITC and Yeti are manufactured in China. Amazing how much more people will pay for that Yeti name.
If you put them both side-by-side, there's a style and quality difference about yeti that goes way beyond RTIC.
Saying they are equal is like saying a frumpy Walmart T-shirt is the same as a Louis Vuitton because it has sleeves and can protect you from the sun
Saying they are equal is like saying my Toyota is the same as a Lamborghini because I can do 80 miles an hour with the air conditioning on lol.
Saying Old English 800 is the same as a Blue Moon Beer or Guinness, just because it as cheaper alcohol.
T-shirts, malt liquor and coolers are always cheaper at Walmart. But I don't like looking and feeling cheap and poor! thanks for your rant!

Except that the YETI Tundra 45 is cheaper than the RTIC equivalent right now ($208 vs $239). Even when on sale, the RTIC equivalent is maybe $10 cheaper than the current YETI price? Either way, this seems like a pretty good deal.

Yeti Tundra 45 is considerably smaller yet heavier than the RTIC 52 which is $229. At these price points I'd probably go RTIC for a bit bigger, lighter, and you have a plethora of colors to choose from other than key lime with this yeti. Edit: if you're referring to the ultra tough RTIC 45, you've got a point I'll acquiesce. I'd probably still go with the RTIC 52. Ok enjoy your key lime and smaller yeti downvoters.

UPDATE: I placed 3 different orders: two hoppers and 1 roadie. All three orders have been cancelled.

I placed an order for a 32 wheeled roadie last night, no cancellation yet. Fingers crossed.

Lucky! I've tried placing a couple of different orders with different accounts, also doing in store pick up and so far 3 out 4 have been cancelled. That's on top of the initial 3 orders I placed.

This is the most genuine comment, and I appreciate that.

So many people will do mental gymnastics as to why they "need" a multi hundred dollar cooler. Sometimes all it comes down to is...I dont like looking poor. Guess thats why Apple exists.

If you're going to buy an expensive cooler go with orca made in USA or Rtic it's made in China but reasonably priced.

RTIC is lower quality and style. But I'm sure could get one even cheaper at Walmart! Enjoy the lower quality!

Successfully picked up a Tundra 45 this morning a few minutes after store open at $208. Second order I placed for shipping (different account using the extra 15% text coupon) got cancelled.

I'm sorry but anyone spending $208 for a ice cooler is a complete fool with money or some hipster trying to show off!

For those that like to keep ice for 5-days in a cooler, you can use any cheap ass $20 Igloo cooler and wrap it inside a cheap ass sleeping bag and get almost identical results. And this advice is coming from someone who goes camping in the wilderness for 3-4 days with a cheap ass $20 cooler. LMAO

How do you know your (comical) method works for 5 days when you only go into the wilderness for 3-4?
