These are super silent, seem unusually reliable given the other problems people have reported with Minisforum hardware, and have great compatibility with Proxmox and Plex transcoding.
One caveat I will point out is that it's configured for a TDP of 45W so you're not going to get the screaming performance of a mobile Core i9, which often times in gaming laptops is allowed to boost up to 100W. But in exchange, it will be basically completely silent, you can't hear fan noise even under full load. If you know what you're doing, you can adjust the TDP and the fan curve in the BIOS to get it to run faster.
The second one I got was a refurb and other than missing the stand and its screws, it looked basically brand new and seems just as reliable.
