Has anyone found 3rd party brush heads that are similar in quality? Tried a few on Amazon but they all feel inferior.

9 out of 10 dentists disagree with you buddy. The brushes are ADA approved. Are you telling me the health experts are wrong?

Yes there are two soft models.
The G3 (on sale last week) and the Sensitive brush heads.

Due to Phillips marketing I don't know if that's the case actually. Other than the "S", which is advertised as soft everywhere, the g3 is considered medium in some places. As an example, on Amazon, the G3 is advertised as Medium in what appears to be Phillips own provided chart - check it out and decide for yourself.

Amazon listings frequently have errors or outdated information.Use the manufacturers web site when reviewing product information.
Otherwise, dobest you can and try for yourself. I can quickly tell if a brush is medium or not, when I receive the G3 ill find out i guess.
