If you are trying to keep mosquitos from your property and don't want to pay for a service, the product you want is called Talstar P. I would recommend a 32 oz container as it does have a shelf life of 3-5 year. This will cost you about $45. You mix a few tablespoons in a $10 one gallon pump sprayer, and for $55 dollars, you have professional level pest control for 3-5 years.

Holy S, I had not heard of this. The reviews are stellar. Does it need to be spread around the perimeter like the services do it? I have 1.25 acres and they come out every 3 weeks at a cost of $650 for the season.

I'm giving this a shot. Generic Bifenthrin 7.9% (same active ingredient) 32oz bottle from Amazon was $26.99 and a 1 gal sprayer was $15.49 and will be here tomorrow. No more going through a gallon of Ortho Home Defense every year!
