If you are trying to keep mosquitos from your property and don't want to pay for a service, the product you want is called Talstar P. I would recommend a 32 oz container as it does have a shelf life of 3-5 year. This will cost you about $45. You mix a few tablespoons in a $10 one gallon pump sprayer, and for $55 dollars, you have professional level pest control for 3-5 years.

I went with a jug of Bifen I/T a few years back and have mixed up a bunch of it. Works really well all around the house, neighbors complain of ants and other bugs all the time but we're pest free.

I have no idea what they put in this and I'm quite sure it'll shorten my lifespan, but holy shit does it work. Spray in the morning and by noon, not a single insect in sight. Been using it for years and never fails. No, it doesn't last the 12 weeks the bottle claims, but can usually get about a month and a half of mosquito free backyard time. So maybe 2 bottles a season works for me. I have less than 5000 sq ft but end up just using the entire bottle each application. Be sure to spray on all hard surfaces (house siding, shed, garage doors, walkways, etc) also along with grass, trees, bushes.

Yeah I also don't get it. I spray tenacity for weed control and it takes me forever with a 1 gal pump sprayer. The Cutter bottle takes 10 min for the whole yard with the garden hose.

I have the Ridgid 4-gallon backpack sprayer, though other companies have competing models.

It seems way, way overpriced for what it is, but it's a purchase that was worth every single penny. I can lay down product so much faster than without it. It's both a timesaver and energy saver since you don't have to manually pump.

I do the perimeter and also spray all flower beds and bushes. Also I do window and door frames and the foundation to my house.
