32gb ram and 2tb ssd for an additional $99 seems like a better deal.

Edited to add that the Costco deal ended, I picked it up yesterday, didn't pay attention to the dates.

it's an additional $190, not $99.

How is that one? I've been looking at it for my kid but not sure how good it is for gaming.

I have been looking for the past few months and have resigned to the fact that 800-1000 range will only see RTX 4060 or the RX7600. The difference between a good deal and no deal is mainly the amount of ram and SSD.

If there is a ryzen 5 or up option, I would 10/10 go for it.

This is for my son as well and since he is going from a GTX 960, he will definitely have no complains.. Big Grin

Nah it is still $hit, but if you need a prebuilt at this price point 8gb vram is your only option. 8gb vram is still mostly enough for 1080p gaming high in new games and with some slider optimizing you should be easily able to get most 2023 and earlier games to work at 1440p.

This is a good deal at $809. Solid gaming machine at that price that has a nice case, and is upgradable. This specific Apevia power supply is adequate. You can find these machines for $600 or less on eBay, and that is a slickdeal! I have purchased 2 and am very satisfied.

I bought one for my son and it is awesome. Of course, I have a bad case of upgradeitis and sold the ram and gpu and now run 32gb and a 5070. So he can play minecraft and some blocky Steam games 🙄
