PSSR tech itself does not come without it's own can of worms, where it can create visual issues on it's own (which is why some devs have the option to turn off PSSR).
The million-dollar question is how badly do you want to play GTA 6 in the best quality? A game which has been delayed until 2026. The best approach is just to sit by the sidelines on the PS5 Pro (despite claims and theories on a future price increase), because then over time the PS5 Pro has more chances to increase it's value proposition which is not currently there.
Don't just go out and buy one just because you think it will cost more later -- so what if it cost more later, when the value prop never gets met? Because then you will just have another machine collecting dust.
