12% 1 star reviews are not good. All of them seem to mention early failure and not being able to turn on or hold a charge.

I suppose being a Craftsman would make it easier to return (although I'm sure it not like their lifetime ,now made in China, tools). The price is good but that rating you point out makes me hesitate. Thanks for pointing out the review shortcoming.

I'll roll the bones at that price. I have a similar no-name unit I got off of Amazon that was $5 that I have been quite happy with. To set expectations, this is good to top-off your times if you had the car out in the cold and it dropped a few psi and your sensor is yapping every time you turn the car on. It's NOT going to fill my Wrangler tires if I air-down for offroading unless you can that there for hours.

Had amazing results with Craftsman product support lately. Had a v20 tool go bad and they shipped a brand new one without any fight.

Looks like just another overpriced inflator.

For those curious, Project Farm did a comparison of tire inflators not too long ago.

This Craftsman one was not part of that comparison, but I figured the info might be useful to someone if they're on the hunt for one.

This looks like it can inflate the tires via the included 12V adapter, in the event that the battery is discharged.

Though this would be less convenient than inflating from the battery, it's good to have a backup source of power.

The negative reviews stopped me from placing my order. The search continues for a good affordable battery inflator

I've had one of these for about 7-8 months now. Never had any issues with it, and I used it frequently in the winter when the tire pressures like to drop. Would absolutely buy one for $25.

Bought one last time they were on sale for this price. Not bad for $25 and has come in handy a couple of times already.

I'm pretty sure the lifetime guarantee does not apply to their various power tools.
Fwiw, I own a ton of the 20V items and they've all been solid for me. This includes the larger inflator that accepts the 20V batteries. I'm also not a contractor or anything and have gone into the purchases expecting something between Harbor Freight and DeWalt quality, and that's what I've gotten for the most part. If I needed a portable inflator, I'd buy this over some other similar option that's only about $10-15 cheaper from some unknown brand (if they're even out there now that drop shipping is shuttered and US customers are paying a 30% tax on anything from China).
