That's a very good price for wifi 6e router. I don't think I have seen 6e router this cheap.

Great price considering the original. Dong Knows Tech pans it pretty hard. https://dongknows.com/commscope-s...em-review/

Crappy app only management, and support is non-existent. I wouldn't expect updates seeing it's on fire sale at Woot.

When you click on support on their site it goes to a busted page: https://community.surfboard.com/resources

Not worth it for an actual home, but worth it for $20 or less to play with. Since this is pretty much going to join all the other abandoned mesh they have shortly, good chance it will stop working once the app is removed from the market place.

So if your getting it for the intention to have it power your home for a few years, your probably wasting your money, if your getting it to play around with than why not. If noone buy it at this price they will drop it by another $5-10 in two weeks and continue dropping till they clear it all out.

Reviews no matter where you go are all trash for this product. Turns out Arris only knows how to make modems.

Honestly it's a very good price for a brand new tri-band mesh wifi 6E 2-pack. You aren't going to find anything close to this price new. I spent $150 on eBay for a Linksys Velop tri-band 6E 3-pack and that was used and it was still the best price I could find for a 3-pack. All these mesh wifi systems use Qualcomm chipsets so they should perform similarly based upon the chipset, this one uses the older last gen Qualcomm Networking Pro 810 chipset family which was used in early 6E systems.

Dougs review highlights NO wired backhaul. So your loosing WiFi for that dedicated backhaul signal...
Personally i would wait for a supported and stable setup

Its a good price, but the reviews show its a plagued system and with how quicky ARRIS discontinues products in the router category who knows how long it will work for since its app based.....

Very good for you, but looking at all the poor reviews on every website and from every reviewer of wifi gear, tells me these are not good.

Also no way you had it for 3 years since they only came out late June/July of 2023.... We are only in 2025 so not even 2 years at this point man.....

I hate that all routers are going app only management. It's a step backwards.

Anybody know if I can set separate SSIDs for each band, or at least the 6 GHz band? Many Mesh units don't have this option and I need it.

I have the W131 version of this and wireless speeds are pretty good. I get 900Mbps between the two over the wireless backhaul. As a router it sucks due to the app. But I'm operating in bridge mode and have the main node just hooked into my old ASUS AC68U that provides router functions. 2nd node is in the upstairs office. You can't separate the 2.4/5GHZ SSIDs though.
