Got 20 cans for $25, shipped via S&S (basically a month's supply). Thanks, OP. The 35% coupon can be applied repeatedly and used for bulk purchases as well. Always nice to stock up my emergency dry pantry on the cheap.

There is no rule saying you have to finish all of the liquid, where most of the salt is in solution.

What other brands have considerably less sodium? All of the cheap canned soups I see are well over 1000mg of sodium per can of this size. I'll agree that it's a shitload of sodium but it seems to be par for the course for canned soups. The Amazon equivalent has 2130mg in a 10.5oz can, which is even more obscene.

I usually buy the reduced sodium creamy tomato basil soup from Progresso when my local supermarket has it for a buck each. It still has quite a bit of sodium (470mg vs 690mg for the regular per serving) but if you take it easy on the salt for the rest of the day it's not too bad. My kids like it with grilled cheese, especially on cold/rainy days tends to hit the spot.

I've managed to find the reduced sodium chicken noodle a few times and have gotten it but it's seemingly harder to find than the "light" which just has fewer calories and still tons of sodium. That being said, Progresso still isn't even on the extreme end for sodium among canned soups.
