I have both the Irwin and dewalt. I like both but if you are going to lift something heavier then 300 pounds the Dewalt foot pedal is easier to use. Got the Dewalt at fleet farm for $79 on sale.
Except the minimum lift height on a bottle jack is north of 6". What if I just want a 1" lift while I fasten in the piece?
Still won't lift ur mom

Have one, love it. Since then I have given one as a gift and am now buying another, also for a gift. Great price.

Good price. I got one that was a dud and it wouldn't hold its elevation. But they replaced it and the second one has been good. Might be a good idea for me to own two. Hmmm

Grabbing one. Seems like one of those things that when you need it you really need it. Hopefully this should help when I need to get the fridge on its wheels

A bottle jack and piece of wood is like $15.

I have a cheap furniture moving kit that's got a lever and pads. Unless I have a need to lift and hold a piece of furniture that thing is so much more useful and was also like $15.

The Dewalt spec sheet says its load capacity is 3.4E+2 Pounds.

Do any of you geniuses know what that translates to in lbs?
