Picked up some tickets today. They're right at the entrance at least at my location! Thank you 😊

(Removed original info as it was based on a rumor before the tickets were officially released)
Honestly it depends on the scenario. If you're wanting a once-in-a-lifetime Disney trip and you're willing to spend at least a week there, then World. If you're just looking for a shorter vacation and/or you're looking to save a bit of money, then Land. But anyone who enjoys theme parks or Disney should absolutely do both at some point.

What I like about Disneyland in particular is:

1) The more chill atmosphere. It's a local's park. Most people who are visiting aren't there on a week-long vacation and staying in a Disney hotel. They're driving in from around the LA area. And so mornings are much more calm, the park feels more serene. You can also get a cheap hotel just outside the park gates and walk over in the morning, rather than riding a bus. I personally feel like you get a lot more of that random street entertainment at Disneyland.

2) The density of rides and attractions. They squeeze a lot more into that tiny space, and as a result, it's usually very easy to find short lines even on busier days. Disneyland Park has most of the best rides of Magic Kingdom (and better versions of them in many cases), plus they have Galaxy's Edge and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, some of the best parts of Hollywood Studios. And California Adventure has a mishmash of other great rides, some which are also found at Disney World (like Soarin and Toy Story Mania), other rides which are similar to Disney World counterparts (like Radiator Springs Racers and Mission Breakout), and some which are completely unique (like Incredicoaster and Web Slingers).

3) SoCal weather beats Florida weather any day of the week. Summer in SoCal can be hot, but it's tolerable. Summer in Florida is absolute misery.
You can go for a lot cheaper than this and still have a great time. You don't need to spend 3 days there. You don't need park hopper. You don't need lightning lanes. This is just a deal because it's a good price for a package that includes all of that for those people that would have bought all of that anyway.

Costco app lets you search inventory by warehouse. Just search for Disneyland and it will show up if it's in stock at your location.
If it's not in stock, will it say not in stock or just not show up at all? I searched for "disneyland" in the app and it brought me to the costco travel page

You guys ever think that they intentionally keep the lines long so that they sell more Lightning passes?
No. They keep the lines long because people are willing to put up with the long lines and wait times.
So they can sell more park admissions, and food, and passes, and merch, and $30 parking, etc, etc...

JUST A CURIOUS QUESTION, if u have chance to go either Orlando or LA, which Disney would u choose and why

Orlando has much more variety in the parks IMO. Been to both would pick Orlando hands down. But it's HUMID if you go during the summer.

My kids haven't been in a decade, but we used to get annual passes and it was a great deal...we would get free parking, discounts on food/merch, and they would send us tons of free tickets over the year.

It was the only amusement park I ever liked...probably because it was like a big playground, all the kids were young (few teenagers...usually just older siblings forced to join), and

Disneyland in Anaheim. CA for sure. Disney World is just so expansive. You'd need a whole week to really see everything. The ambiance and atmosphere also seems different. I feel as though the employees at Disneyland are more "into it." The weather is also better over on the west coast.
Just be aware that, especially this time of year, SoCal can be really grey and cool with the marine layer. It may be more comfortable, but can get a little dreary.

And, if you're planning on hitting the beach, forget about it. I went down to Laguna a few times last summer, and each time (despite being perfectly sunny 5 miles inland), the entire beach was covered in clouds.

I just did Disneyland and Disney World within a month of each other. Disneyland is a great day trip, but I couldn't see myself going more than two days in a row. I opened and closed the parks (DL and California Adventure) in a single day and rode everything I wanted, some twice, with the premier lightning lane pass. I just returned from a week at Disney World yesterday and felt like I still needed a few days to really experience everything, but the weather was hot and muggy and I was exhausted spending 4-5 hours a day there. Definitely a much different vibe, but Disney World feels more "magical" and immersive because of its sheer size. Overall I enjoyed them both in different ways.(Edit: meant to reply to the person asking the difference between parks)
If you did Disneyland in a day, you completely missed the point. Yeah you rode a bunch of rides like you would at six flags, but Disneyland is a piece of classic Americana with many many layers of history and Easter eggs. It's possible you don't care about that, but to suggest that's all anyone needs is a fallacy.

Disneyland, especially if you have smaller kids. More kid friendly with less walking, way more characters, and more dark rides. Also, a fair bit cheaper as you can stay off property at a really nice hotel for

What are you actually purchasing? Is it a code that can be given to someone else? Is it linked to your Costco account?
Sorry, I don't have a Costco membership, but a friend of mine might buy it for me if it easy.

dang :/

Wrong info, that's not stated in the terms and conditions of use. It was wrong info from early rumors about the deal 3 weeks ago.
