I have a gold display gshock and I can say that sometimes the gold is difficult to read without the proper angle and lighting. Obviously you can turn on the light/glow but just making a note for anybody who isn't aware.
for the price, it's a good deal for an every day watch for sure.

This particular model has the gold display, which is part of their gold line. I have the mudmaster solar version of their gold line and paid a lot more for it but I have yet to need to change the battery on it in 10 years. For $23, you get a good, solid watch that will last forever (with battery changes).
I do stand by my statement that the gold display can be difficult to read at times and requires good light and the right angle (when not using the illumination).
