The woot one works with Xbox. This one does not appear to have an Xbox button nor do I expect a headset jack.

Amazing controller, I use it more than my Elite Series 2, at 1/10th the price of that controller this one is easily worth it if you're okay going wired. It feels very similar to the Switch Pro controller except with better triggers and a better D-Pad.

I am pretty sure you need the Bluetooth version that mentions compatibility with Switch. I bought the Bluetooth version of this controller and it works in Yuzu, with motion controls. It shows up as a Nintendo Pro Controller.

The Xbox button is just an aesthetic change from the 8bitdo button. The headphone jack is nice if for some reason you can't just plug your headphones into your device but unless you intend to use this controller with an Xbox this is clearly the better choice. Not to be overlooked is the "reinforced metal joystick rings" on this controller, absent from the Xbox version. Assuming long-term use, you're going to reach a point where the joysticks get worn down to smooth, texture-less discs. That will be avoided, or at least take a lot longer, on this controller.

I don't like that third trigger that these have, so the Xbox version is my preference. Still a very solid controller for $14 though, and most of the other colors are under $20 if you really don't like purple or something.

Only windows and android on this model. The "8BitDo Ultimate Wired Controller" which is basically the same controller without the remappable buttons, and detachable cable does work on Switch though. If you go to 8bitdo's website they have the compatibility for all their controllers.

I got one recently and while it works well the light on it makes it unusable in my opinion if you play in a dark room. After covering it with electrical tape it's tolerable but of course that ruins the look of the thing. Feels like it was designed for use outside in direct sunlight.
