Sure, any name brand is good. But what is your purpose? This one is older gen might not serve well for a pro, for home owner I recommend smaller and lighter saw.

I've used the fuel versions and they're better and I think I'd prefer one, but they're also not $67 bucks. Mine still cuts and not a daily driver tool for me. I think I'd look to a fuel or brushless if I was purchasing new. Wasn't an option when I bought. If you're on a tight budget it'll get the job done though.
As others have said, good deal for brushed, but when it comes to a battery hungry tool, brushless or Fuel is the best option.

You can not get through a 4x4 with a 6 1/2 but yes, the handling would be nice if it was brushless and I didnt feel the motor taking a shit with a brand new saw.

The 7-1/4" version has a cut depth of 2-1/2"
Neither saw will cut through a 4x4 in one pass.
Both will cut through a 4x4 in two passes.

I did it in 3 passes though—rotate 90° each cut and use the existing slot to guide the blade. Easier and faster than making 2 cuts but having to line it up perfect for the second.
