Wow. Arguably one of the best and most responsible knife companies out there... Not sure why the hate.

Is the discount supposed to be "in cart". I'm not seeing a code and the prices listed appear to be standard MAP.

Pre Covid, Spyderco knives were priced about right for the materials & finish, post covid pricing is out of wack with market comparables, they need to get in line with reality and their customers

Spyderco sucks. I used to buy a lot of pocket clips from them, then dude said he'd call me back, had to check inventory, never did, then spoke with some woman manager, could care less what her name was, and she said I'm not aloud to buy any more clips, the family refused to sell to me, sold all my Spyderco's and never bought another, over rated imo
Are you aloud? 🤔

Can't help but laugh when someone is trying to say that someone else is stupid or hating on them and they themselves are….aloud. Also funny that both grievances were with the people and not the product itself, and yet the products are "overrated".

I've had 5 Spydercos because I like the hole opening.
But - I have read about people's Spyderco knives breakng where the hole is
I could see that.

Got two Salt models one in Magnacut and one in H1, well below market even for lesser branded comparables.

Just so you know, if you say you "could care less" that means that you care to a degree. I think you meant that you "couldn't care less" as in you have no care at all?

I feel that Benchmade and Spyderco are both pretty overrated. I'd rather buy kershaw all day when it comes to bang for your buck.

Yeah lot of 8cr13mov steel here. I have $20 Civivi's with better steel than that.

Are any of these H1 or H2? I'm still looking for a salt water resistant knife. Years ago I researched and ended up with the conclusion that H2 or at least H1 was going to give me the best resistance to corrosion but it was cost prohibitive. Under $50 I could do unless there is a cheaper alternative. Now I fish a lot less, so it has become less of a priority, and my very affordable Morakniv has not rusted at all after years of use, so I'm not even sure I need it anymore.

I have a small collection of Spydero knives. My first good knife was a Spyderco. Their street prices have pretty much doubled in the last decade. I don't think they provide the value they used to.

Look at their Salt series with H-2 steel.
