Yellow Corn Flour = #1 ingredient. Old El Paso changed their recipe lately to do the same thing. McCormick (original, not premium) still has Spices as the #1 ingredient. A little corn starch to thicken things up is fine, but to have filler as the top on the list is ridiculous.

Reason #1 we started making our own taco, chili, cajun, etc seasoning at home.

Jenna Ortega needs to hype this brand under the tagline "Taco Wednesday"

You're welcome, Madison Avenue.

I encourage everyone to just buy basic ingredients and use those for tacos or whatever you are making. Follow a recipe the first time or two and then you won't need any guidance and will just know how to season things on your own. No need to buy taco, fajita, chili, guacamole, stroganoff, …. seasoning mixes.

I'll give you mid westerners a lil tip. Real Mexicans don't over season their taco meat with crap like this. Just salt pepper and a lime. They get the flavoring from fresh tortillas, fresh salsa which will bring out the natural flavor of the beef.

Add guacamole and sour cream to really turn up the volume.

Think about it, those pre-made shells you guys buy get fried in a factory, dried out, then stored on a shelf for lord knows how long. You're ruining the best ingredient of a taco.

I make my own from a low sodium recipe i found online. Its cheap and you can add your own salt to it.
