My 2015 Shield TV is still alive and kicking. This is probably the longest supported piece of electronics I've ever owned.

man... this deal reminds me why i never setup and used Instacart. fees, tips, complaining that higher tips get priority... the 30% off still makes it "ok", but otherwise what a scam.

Fees kill it for me. $205.98 + $7.99 delivery fee + $10.30 service fee + $16.22 taxes and fees + $10.30 5% tip = $250.79, less 30% cash back (if it applies to all fees and tips) is $175.

Kodi runs native on the Shield.

Plex works great too.

The Shield software was just updated a month or so ago too, so still being supported.

I almost bought this for full price at one point last year. Anyone looking to play Dolby Vision Remux on plex would be better off with AM6B+ to get all the layers of Dolby Vision, not just the base layer. AM6B+ along side a firestick, never looked back.
