Actually..PayPal showed my AMEX selected by default at checkout but looking at it, it came out of my PayPal balance instead. Weird..AllTrails US definitely accepts AMEX though. Maybe you can't?

It doesn't appear existing accounts can apply the credit or coupon code if the subscription is still active. It also doesn't allow you to add a code to a gift subscription. I'll have to wait and hope it'll work when it expires.

Apple map is getting better and better. If you only use the map for light trails, Apple will be the king. Also, these tracks are uploaded by community I guess.

Right. It looks like it's not possible to cancel a current subscription. I can only see how to turn off auto-renew.

Mine expires on 5/28, and I fear the same thing. A few years ago, I used a different email to get the deal, but that messed up my hike organization...

Even when it's on sale the value of this keeps going down. There are a lot of free competitors now that offer a lot of these features and they just trimmed some of the plus features in favor of their new Peak tier plan.
