Use a Brazil VPN 😉.
Thank me later.
You get all the trails no matter where you sign up. And the code works, too.
I think my renewal this year was around $4. But hey -- you do you.
Sweet, $4.62 Thanks!

I honestly have just been using Google Maps. First, you can download maps ahead of time if your area has poor reception. Second, even after I lose cell reception, I keep GPS for quite a bit. So honestly, Google does fairly well for free.

I did with India the last time this deal came around. It was much cheaper and could still use a US credit card

Where are you hiking that Google Maps does as well?

Maps does Appalachian Trail a little, though FarOut is apparently the king there. Otherwise AllTrails has, well, tons of trails Maps doesn't.

It should work. I signed up last October setting my VPN to some Asian country, maybe Malaysia and got AllTrails for under $5.

Thanks! It still works for Brazil using my Costco Anywhere Visa card by Citi without any foreign transaction fees! The total came out to be only $4.42!

Organic Maps is one that has been recommended, but I haven't tried it enough yet to say how it compares to AllTrails.

Apple map is getting better and better. If you only use the map for light trails, Apple will be the king. Also, these tracks are uploaded by community I guess.
So essentially you have no idea what this app is used for.

I drive a lot for work. I freestyle hike probably 4 days a week. Google hiking nearby, view some user pics and any reviews, then just do it. 3-7 miles usually. I live in Michigan. There's no shortage of hiking trails.

I have Alltrails as well. Honestly haven't needed it while just day hiking.

I agree. This is much better than Google maps. Once you selected the trail on the paid version, it can send you a notification that you're going off the selected trail. This feature has helped me a couple times. Another good thing about the paid version is that you can download the trail beforehand. So when you're in a location without cell service the map will continue to work. It's definitely worth the $18 if you hike often.
