Man the staff must make a killing off Amazon link referral clicks on big price items.
Which would lead them to REPOST THE SAME CR4P MSRP ITEM FOR SALE EVERY 12 HOURS.
SlickDeals has gone WAYYYYYYYY DOWN HILL. Time for a new competing website to steal 60% of their business?

This is a crazy processor 70k Passmark.

It's expensive but it's basically the same price right now as the 7950X3D but is 12% better in both single and multi-core

The % difference between the 9800x3d and 9950x3d is not that huge vs $250-$300 price gap

It's always like this for anything performance related at the top end. you end up paying a lot more for a little bit more performance.

For gaming, 100% - go with the 9800x3d. This is a great combo processor for gaming and workloads that will take advantage of the additional threads.

So, what is the killer app for 9950x3d?

Literally anything processor intensive - video editing, CAD, Adobe Illustrator, 3D modeling/rendering, transcoding, intensive coding/ VM scenarios…this chip shreds for multi-use cases. Video work by day, Gaming by night.

I just looked it up. It literally is huge. The 9800x3d scores the same multi as my 5900X. Its over 40% worse than the 9950x3d

Single core is also 7% worse.

If you have the money the 9950x3d will be relevant for far longer.
