Unlocking Policy
Effective Date: April 1, 2025
For all cellphones Activated on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021,
the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically 60 days after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service.

seems the newer model is slower but with more features like more cameras, water proof design, gorilla glass (the old model does get micro scratches easily), etc.
A lot of us got screwed by buying the Moto G Power in February when the conditions were to pay for 1 month of Gold service.
Just know, you are taking a risk that they will honor the 2 month agreement.

Not eligible as I paid for 1st month
Now they saying pay for 2nd month. Then your cycle for 60 days start when you activate 2ms month paid cycle
So in short you get this phone unlocked after 120 days if you are screwed by this new policy
So if anyone plans to get it unlocked make sure you pay 2 consecutive months do not break the cycle
I paid 30 to unlock website to get my phone unlocked which come about same 55 + 30 or you go 55+35 bronze recharge
By waiting a day or so you ensure that second month plan goes past 60 days activation.

Note can have 1-29 days inactive after first month and then if buy a second month plan it will unlock at 60-62 days from initial activation.
That is to say if get on May 1, inactive for 15 days and get second month plan [lower rate] on June 15 it will unlock around June 30 or July 1.

So did you ever activate on Straight Talk before using the Trac sim? I know my ST phone came with the sim installed although it was not fully activated.
Edit: I see you DID activate on ST. I thought that even with an eligible fone, you could not "sim swap" on Trac, so did you have to transfer your plan and "keep your number" on Trac? Or was it a simple sim swap?
