These are great drives - I have a few in my desktop (I scan to massive multi gigabyte raw files for processing). NewMaxx performance data backs up my experience - the DRAM cache makes it a monster in sustained writes. Fortunately, performance doesn't suffer at all in random reads/writes either.

Actually, a decent deal though I prefer SN 850x more after benchmark test when P41 was available on market a few years back.

These have had hardware degradation issues, yes they released a fix but users are reporting it comes back
