Includes 1100mAh battery packs. Eneloop AA rechargeable batteries are over 4000mAh per pair. 4x the capacity, lower price, and not stuck charging on a dock or with a cord. I've never understood the low spec of these sets. I guess displaying your controllers on a dock may appeal to some people.
Not knocking the deal or the poster, just questioning the product.

You're misunderstanding, you should be using watt hours if you're comparing batteries of differing chemistries and voltages. Eneloops would be ~2.4v at 2000mah. These batteries are specced as ~3.7 1100mah. However, the lithium ion chemistry is generally more robust, more energy dense, and lasts for many more cycles than the more prone to failure older battery tech.

My young kids would have a harder time managing the eneloops... If it were just me that would be my preference.

in fact I had rechargeable aas years ago for this and they kept getting thrown away.

I have been using a similar one for 2 years , you really don't need 4x capacity which eneloop give for remotes. After 2 or 3 play sessions I just dock my controller and they charge up . Only gripe is the charger can be finicky and I need to fiddle with my controller in order for it to start charging at times.

I've had good experiences with these. However, I've had some real dud Eneloop batteries.

I have one of these docks and they're actually pretty nice. Better form factor then the previous version...the controllers lay better on this one for more consistent charging. With the previous version, sometimes it was more art than science trying to get it to connect for charging.

He was giving misinformation, these batteries are not going to last four times as much, the voltage sag is huge with nickel metal hydride batteries AND the 4x was also miscalculated.

I just need the battery packs. Don't want to keep buying charging docks when they are still good.

My in-laws who can't read English kept throwing mine away so I stopped buying rechargeable batteries. I keep the ones I have left with my devices.

Garbage. Buy some eneloops or ANY NIMH AA and it'll be better.
