Warning: These mold in no time due to the more porous nature of the skin compared to PVC. Every spring during cleanup week, a number of homes toss these out half black through the length of them.

Unless put away in a garage out of the weather, they grow mold. Even on hose reels or hanging on the side of a house in humid climates, they go yuck.

Looks like the everyday price at Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Flexz.../203549999

These are so pretty, but they are garbage. The fittings plate out on brass and the hose grows black mold. Stay away.

For what it's worth I am no garden hose expert, but I had two of these and both had very poor quality connectors on the ends that leaked all the time no matter how I tried to connect things (sprinkler, spray handle, pressure washer). I ended up throwing them out and now just have the basic dark green generic garden hoses with the screw connectors again.

Sorry guys, I just wanted to mention that if you leave this hose out in the hot sun daily (I'm from Los Angeles), over time I guess the sun melts the top layer and it gets sticky and gummy and leaves residue on your hands when handling. Kinda like stubborn waterproof tree sap. Just a heads up.

Flexzilla hoses are the best. No mold issues on my 4, and I keep them outside all the time

Same, this is the only hose that's lasted over 3 years. Every other hose fails at the connector…

The extra ~$10 or so for the Flexzilla Garden Hose with SwivelGrip is absolutely worth it. I just got it to replace a horrible heavy duty hose that was always kinking or getting caught on something. The new hose is amazing!

I use the Marine version and after two applications never had problem with molding or cracking.

It wasn't written reviews, it was the photos. You need to look at the review photos on amazon. Mostly the hose looks terrible.

We bought one from walmart and one from amazon. The one from amazon got leak (micro holes), we wrap electric tape around it and got more micro holes somewhere else. The walmart one is always turn on, always under pressure with no leak. We leave that one on 24/7 and just turn it off at the nozzle Just fyi

Dude this IS FPVC. Basically all hoses except true rubber are FPVC.
