They put out an update on android (unsure of the functioning of IOS) that broke the app. It constantly loses connection with the mug and can no longer find it, requiring you to keep resetting it and messing with it until it works. This is incredibly frustrating as everything must be done through the app. It currently has like 1.4 stars on the app store
The charging coaster is extremely fragile and if any water gets on it, which it will since this is a mug, it will break the pins and you'll need to buy a new one.
The battery life is horrendous. If you keep it on the hotter settings, expect like 20-30 minutes of use. You can double-triple this if you buy the optional $15 plastic lid, which should just be included since the battery life is crap, but sure.
To top it off, ember doesn't have bad customer service. That would imply they offer some level of customer service, They have zero customer service. They do not respond to emails.
