Anytime you see "LPDDR5X" as the memory type, it means it's soldered memory as there is no LPDDR5X on an SODIMM. If it says "DDR5" then most likely a memory DIMM. Now, any Lunar Lake laptop will always be "soldered" as the memory is part of the CPU package. If you want 32GB there is a 258V CPU which is identical to the 256V CPU, but has 32GB memory. Tell your friends.

Need a 16" and good deals on laptops are few and far between it seems (most come from China if that's any clue). 2 Year warranty and 30 day returns makes this laptop with great specs a no-brainer.

Damn this one is tempting. Watching some reviews of it. If it had 32gb of ram it would be better. Id even take 512gb ssd. Not sure how it will age.

Im thinking about getting one. Mainly watching media and light work. Should i be concerned about the hot exhaust air blowing directly onto the screen? And how much should i be concerned about screen burn in.

They sold a handful and killed the deal. It probably means they have no intention to sell this en masse at $562.

That said, they were selling this again at $750 and now reduced to $690. I wonder if this go even lower in a few weeks.

Might hold off then and wait and see. when I saw what this laptop was selling for new at some points the 690 refurb is a good deal but maybe not instant jump price

2 1/2 years old Intel based on 7 years old fan technology is a no no. That was still on 10 nm.
