I've been using a hollow core door on a pair of sawhorses for a 3D printer table for years. I'm going to upgrade my setup and put the door on this.

185 lbs is on the low side. weirdly single and dual motor have the same weight limit. My guess is it will be good enough for my solid wood desk + monitors which i think is around 100 lbs. some of the amazon reviews show a solid wood desk

Just to be aware that a lot of the cheaper motorized standup desks only move at a speed of about 1/2" per second. The higher quality ones move at around 1" per second. So it takes about 30+ seconds to transition between sit/stand on the cheaper ones and about 15 seconds to transition. Most people will think "oh that isn't a big deal to me" and for some it might not be an issue. For me I very much appreciated the upgrade to the faster desk. That being said, the price is kinda difficult to beat

Wondering if I could get this to work as a corner desk. The middle connecting part seems like the biggest issue with that
