It's great to see HRR displays becoming more and more common in laptops. How good is this laptop for general daily use and photo editing?

The coupon does not work on this. There are many versions/configurations of this deal but the coupon will not work. It's still on sale, but the additional 10% coupon is not accurate.

Impossible to find reviews for this lunar lake based model around the net. Is it brand new? Dell seems to have dropped the Inspiron naming scheme for these new models at some point. many of the 7640 models reference the worse Intel 155h.

edit: yeah, they seem brand new and totally redesigned - hothardware CES 2025 - https://youtu.be/Ug6HD9rgJYE

another hands on preview (says 2 in 1, so maybe a variant? but should othwerwise be close?) from three weeks ago - https://www.youtube.com/live/vM8UlDLg468

It looks like there's also a 2-in-1 but this is really intriguing for the price point. Looking for web & travel, Microsoft suite, and Adobe machine. This could be the one.

Where does it show 120hz? Is that comfort view? I only see 90 for the miniled version not on sale. But can choose lesser versions with 256v and less memory for $700 and 800.

Another question: replaceable RAM? Or are they soldered in?

Never mind, the answer is soldered, not replaceable:

I'm guessing you can stack the discount but it still looks like a great deal. I think PayPal offers 2% cash back or something.

How does this compare to the microcenter Deal for $1000 last week?
