Use code SHAREBBQ to get it to $68.67.

Total with shipping and taxes comes out to be around $82.11.

This is a good price for it, $68 has been the sales price for awhile now, they hardly ever do free shipping.

It is available on Amazon as well for $89, but has limited color options.

What does this do that a $5-$10 meat thermometer doesn't, besides lighten my wallet more?

Much faster, better accuracy and quality.

These are built to withstand the rigors of busy commercial kitchens for years, delivering consistently accurate readings. In contrast, the $5 models from Walmart often fail within weeks or months and provide unreliable, inconsistent results.

It has a +- .5 degree accuracy in under a second. The numbers display upright no matter how you hold it. It is well made and will withstand drops and bumps.

I have a few $10 Amazon thermometers, but use this for when accuracy matters. The cheap ones are normally OK and good enough for most. But when I brew beer, I want to know exactly what exactly is going on with my brew. Somewhat the same for smoking meats, but I use a WiFi connected unit that I'm comfortable with the slight inaccuracy it shows until I'm down to when to pull something off the heat. Then I get this out to be sure I'm hitting my desired temperature.
