Fantastic idea. I always need to open my cases to find out which drive is inside. Bring back transparent plastic!

So good, or nay?

Was hoping to see one for NVME drives as well.

Yes, it is as good as it gets with these SATA enclosures. If you need one - get this.
NVME drive enclosures go for $10, a bit more.

How fast does the data from the ORICO flow?

The enclosure scratches easily and my friend found the insertion/removal annoying.
Works fine for me though and I bought it for double the price.

Any you'd recommend or any particular features I should be on the lookout for?

No, this isn't as good as it gets. Despite being a great deal, this is USB 3.0 and doesn't have USB C. A USB 3.1 gen 2 with USB is a better option for some.

That sucks that it scratches easily. Defeating the purpose of it being clear.

Thanks, found a 4TB 2.5" this morning laying around. This will do nicely.

If it is clear, won't everyone see your files?

Not crazy about a thermally insulated case. But I don't care if it gets scratches. I never bring my computers to the computer show (right next to the car show). I've had great success with Orico, and I am retiring a Windows 10 PC (to run in a VM on a new one). So I got two of these.

Yep, making these good for use with a raspberry pi 4b or older where a SATA SSD can benefit performance.
