It's great during cold months when or if you're trapped inside, but I definitely use it less during nicer seasons. I'd say it has months of use before the luster fades. The Quest 3 is my 3rd VR since the Rift and I'm kinda over it, but I've used them for years. I feel like the Quest 3 some how strains my eyes more than the q2 and Rift ever did. Even in night mode. It's still much sharper than the q2 though. I do miss the rift's oled screen.

If you have friends to play coop or sports with it's great.

Be advised the stock head strap and face pad are not good. Upgrade them.

I got my case yesterday. Horrible smell like perfume or laundry detergent. Absolutely reeks. is this common with Woot?

I bought both cases and they only have a faint smell that I assume is off-gassing from the manufacturing process.
