G-Shocks are great. I have several. But I've drifted away from wearing black watches. I wear various color watches including white.

I have this big beefy boy, it's awesome and the flashing alarm is a great feature. But yes, negative displays are bad unless it's a MIP which this is not

I too have this same watch. It is SO DIFFICULT TO SEE! It is a nice looking watch otherwise, but I regret keeping it.
