This is a very good price. The Costco bundle is also a very good price. They are both very good values in the under $1000 price range. The Costco bundle comes with more accessories. It is a portable keyboard on a stand with a pedal unit. The Casio is a purpose-built console piano. It is a piece of furniture. That may or may not make a difference to you. Because of the way the cabinet is built, the Casio may sound a little better, but that may be a controversial opinion. Some players think the key action of the Roland is a little heavy, which is also a controversial opinion.

This is spot on. I own the Casio, bought it over the Roland. The key feel of the Casio is so nice--falls somewhere between an upright and a baby grand. The Roland feels like a grand and the actuation force required and the "bump" on the Roland weren't to my liking. That said, the Roland sounded a bit better to me. All in all, both are excellent and I suspect it comes down to use case and personal taste. The key feel is strikingly different, so get your hands on one first if that matters to you. And, keep in mind, as OP said, the Casio is a piece of furniture.

Exactly, it's kind of preference on the keys, I liked how the Roland played and ended up getting that, but made my own stand to mimic one like this. Both are excellent pianos for the price, but recommend trying to play them in person first.

To the extent that any digital piano recreates these, yes. At the end of the day a lot comes down to personal feel, but they do a couple things on these to recreate the feel of a real piano. Sympathetic resonance has been built into these a few years before this one came out, so the sound of multiple keys ringing at the same time mimics the sound of a real piano. The tri-sensor action is also the best that Casio has ever made, and this is the last year that they made this action. All the new models, the S1000 and S3000 range have "the slimmest hammer action" which is an awful compromise that make the backs of the keys way harder to press than the fronts (this doesn't happen on acoustic pianos because the keys are a foot long, and the leverage point is way far away from any part of the key you can touch) and worse, the black keys are lighter than the whites. All the new Privias are trash. You don't feel it right away but after some time it becomes draining to play.

I have this piano and while it sounds and feels great, I wish I had gone with one that supports bluetooth since its a pain to use an iPad with this since the piano won't charge it, and won't work if you do an adapter.

My point is that the Casio isn't a digital keyboard, in the sense that it is built into the stand. You can't pick it up and put it in the trunk of your car easily or store it in a closet. It is a piece of furniture in the sense that you have to have a space set aside for it, and it isn't easy to move. I make no statement about aesthetics.
