Exactly! Can't understand how people can live with a watch that needs to be recharged more often than a phone. I've been wearing Amazfit watches for years now (pebble 1 and 2 before that) and was very tempted to replace my Bip S with something nicer from Samsung or google but I can't go from 30+ days always on display battery life to less than 24 hrs. Well I got the Amazfit Balance I couldn't be happier, battery life is about 5-7 days with always on display. It's not a bip S but better than most and the price is great for what you get.
Yes, it is it's Google. The Watch 5 Pro is very slow, and you have to use Samsung Wear Apple with your Pixel phone.
Also, Samsung watches aren't that accurate if you're into fitness. Google is much better.

Not sure if the watch 5 promos water proof, but the pixel 2 isn't, and I'm not buying something that goes in my wrist that can die if it gets "too" wet.
I've had the Samsung at a water park with water lock on. Made it through the day.
